Volunteer opportunities vary depending on current needs, but these are some of the ways people support Franklin Hospice.
Patient And Whānau Support
Offer companionship, conversation and practical support to patients and the people closest to them.
Transport Support
Help patients attend appointments, programmes and other hospice-related activities.
Hospice Shop
Support customers, sort donated goods, organise displays and help raise funds through our retail shop.
Events And Fundraising
Help with community events, fundraising activities, Garden Ramble and special hospice campaigns.
Gardening And Practical Help
Share practical skills by helping with gardens, maintenance, upcycling projects or other hands-on tasks.
Administration And Community Activities
Assist with office tasks, community programmes, workshops and other activities that keep hospice connected.
