GARDENS WITH PURPOSE

Every Ticket Helps Local Hospice Care Continue

Franklin Hospice provides specialist palliative care and support services free of charge to people and families throughout the Franklin district.

Only around half of hospice funding comes from government support. Events like the Garden Ramble help bridge the gap, ensuring local families continue receiving compassionate care when they need it most.

Specialist Hospice Care

Your support helps our clinical team provide specialist palliative nursing care and symptom management for people living with serious illness.

Family And Whānau Support

Funds raised help families and whānau receive information, emotional support, practical guidance and reassurance throughout the hospice journey.

Care In The Community

Hospice care is often provided in patients’ homes, allowing people to remain in familiar surroundings while receiving professional support.

Counselling And Bereavement Support

Community fundraising helps provide counselling, grief support, information and connection for patients, carers and people who are bereaved.

Living Well Programmes

Your support helps fund programmes and groups that encourage connection, creativity, cultural care, emotional wellbeing and quality of life.

The Future Of Local Hospice Care

The Garden Ramble also helps strengthen Franklin Hospice for the future, supporting the facilities, resources and services our growing community needs.

When you purchase a ticket, volunteer, sponsor the event or support the Garden Ramble market, you become part of a community helping local hospice care continue.
